Accessibility Statement
Contents
1. Our Commitment
Taika Translations LLC, operating as Language Access Hub, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. Accessibility is core to what we do — we help government agencies, school districts, and healthcare organizations meet their own ADA Title II and Section 508 obligations — and we hold our own website to the same standard.
We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards across teamtaika.com.
2. Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by ADA Title II and Section 508. Where practical, we also incorporate the additional success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2 Level AA as current best practice.
3. Conformance Status
teamtaika.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. We test the site using a combination of automated tools and manual review — including keyboard-only navigation and screen-reader checks — and remediate issues on an ongoing basis.
4. Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we:
- Design with sufficient color contrast, visible focus indicators, and responsive layouts that work across devices;
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and captions for video content;
- Use semantic HTML headings, labels, and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate the site;
- Test with automated accessibility tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader review;
- Review accessibility as part of our content and code update process; and
- Remediate documents (PDFs) and pages when barriers are identified.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. We are actively working to resolve the following:
- Embedded third-party content (such as videos or maps) may not be fully under our control; we choose privacy- and accessibility-conscious providers where possible.
- Legacy documents published to the site are being reviewed and remediated on a prioritized basis.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us — see the next section.
