Taika Language Services ("Taika," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website, client portal, and services.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, organization name, and project files when you submit a translation or interpretation request. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and feature interactions to improve our services.
We use your information to deliver translation and language services, communicate with you about your projects, send service-related notifications, and improve our platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
All documents submitted for translation are treated as strictly confidential. Our translators and staff are bound by confidentiality agreements. We do not retain your documents longer than necessary to deliver your project and comply with applicable law.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Our client portal uses Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security. We use HTTPS on all pages. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access.
We use the following third-party services to operate our platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), Google Translate API (machine translation preview only — no data is retained by Google beyond the request), and Netlify (hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@taikatranslations.com. If you are located in the EU or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.
Our website uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered portal users of material changes by email.
